The Academy
Many learners come to us having studied Arabic before but struggling to continue.

The Academy is built to answer these directly. Learning is paced, classes stay small, review is a normal part of learning at the Academy, and students follow structured material with a clear sequence instead of guessing what comes next.
The experience
Arabic grows through steady study, repeated exposure, practice, and review. Classes meet live and follow a consistent schedule.
The purpose is not pressure for its own sake. It is to build a rhythm of learning the student can return to consistently and continue over time.

Small by design
Most Academy classes are designed around a small-group target of 5 to 8 students, giving learners more opportunity to participate, ask questions, read aloud, and receive correction.
Program structure
We offer separate adult classes for brothers and sisters, along with dedicated children's programs.
Structured material
Our core adult Arabic pathway uses Arabic Between Your Hands, a structured curriculum that develops listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar together over time. Basic Arabic Reading and Qur'an and Tajweed follow their own distinct materials, built for their own starting points.

Your pathway
The Academy offers two related pathways: Arabic language study, and Qur'an and Tajweed. They can support one another, but each has its own starting points and progression.
The Arabic pathway includes a reading foundation for learners who need it, followed by Arabic Between Your Hands, Books 1 through 4. Learners who can already read Arabic with harakat may begin at Book 1.
You may belong here if you are starting from the beginning, or you are not yet reading Arabic letters or fully vowelled words comfortably.
Students work toward: letter recognition, accurate sounds, and reading vowelled words and short passages with increasing confidence.

Students work toward: basic sentences, essential vocabulary, guided listening and speaking, vowelled reading, and foundational grammar in context.
Some continuing classes at this level may require a placement check before final class placement; exact requirements are shown with each class.

This is the highest stage of the current Arabic Between Your Hands sequence. Continued growth comes through ongoing review, application, reading, speaking, and writing.

Current Qur'an and Tajweed study is designed for learners who can already read Arabic at some level and want support with recitation, correction, memorization review, and applied tajweed. Exact entry requirements are shown with each class.
Students work toward: more accurate recitation, stronger tajweed application, and greater confidence reading and reciting the Qur'an.

The pathway above can help identify a likely starting point. Books 2, 3, and 4 require a placement assessment before final class placement, and some continuation classes may also require a placement check.

Progression depends on the learner's skills, program, and readiness. Weak areas are reviewed rather than rushed past simply because time has passed or a chapter has ended.
